Course Description:A 17 mile loop of Stanislaus County Roads starting and finishing east of Oakdale on Warnerville Road at Emery Road. Counter Clockwise Loop:. Warnerville, Stoddard, Alvarado, Ellenwood, Claribel, Tim Bell, Warnerville. The roads of the loop will be closed to all but local residential traffic. All of the roads are normally very light traffic, with the exception of Stoddard Road.
Facilities: Parking will be on private property off Emery Road, north of Warnerville Road.Registration and toilets (portable) will be also be located here.
Traffic Control:Monitors supplied by the organizers will man the intersections along the route, all experienced and equipped with traffic safety equipment (barricades, signs, vests, flags, stop/slow paddles). Signage warning of the event in progress (Special Event, Flagman Ahead, Prepare to Stop, Caution Bicycle Race) will be posted at the intersections, and letters informing residents and property owners will be delivered to all in the area, explaining the events. Local newspapers will also provide information on the events, including course maps. Radio communications will be established along the course and with follow vehicles. Prior to the race, a crew will check the route for rocks and other debris, and remove any necessary.
Course Clean-Up: Following the race, race personnel will pick up any trash or debris left behind along the course and in the parking areas.
